Really…In this Hemisphere?

When Ford called us here at Ranch Exit and asked if we could shoot winter running footage in late October, we said…of course! We then had to figure out which hemisphere we were going to do it in.

High Pressure

After searching high and low we were finally able to settle on a nearly arctic venue located on the Wyoming border near Yellowstone National Park.  Our crew closed the gates on 13 miles of spring road for over two weeks in order to contain as many aspects of the environment as possible, including the amount of snow on the ground. We made the roads and in the end, we made the day!

Earlier this year Chris Patterson, along with Lindsey Dyer and Lel Tone, dared to go where no one had ever gone before… on skis that is. Kashmir isn’t anyone’s number one thought when you say, “heli skiing”, but then again what’s normal about heli skiing? It was the first ascent on skis, and the girls were put to work, testing gear in the deep powder of the Himalayas for another Eddie Bauer webisode.
